Dr. David Flanigan Dr. David Flanigan has joined Bundilla Clinic after serving 20 years as practice principal in Sydney, and a one year term at the Acute Care Clinic in Dublin, Ireland. David carries extremely high credentials and garners rave reviews for his medical knowledge and excellent patient care. He has a refreshingly upbeat personality and we are confident he will quickly amass an enthusiastic patient following here at Bundilla Clinic. In his recent term in Dublin Dr. Flanigan was senior medical officer, handling a diverse range of medical care including trauma, lacerations, fractures, plasters, splints, sprains, sporting injuries and burns. As practice principal in Carlingford Dr. Flanigan handled general medical consultations, paediatric and infant care, antenatal care, gynaecology (including pap smears, IUCD, Implanon and hormone implants insertions), surgical excisions, laceration repairs, chest pain evaluation, ECG interpretation, venipuncture, IV catheter insertion (including paediatric and infant), cryotherapy and dermatoscopy. Since 2003 Dr. Flanigan has taken no less than 34 continuing education courses and conferences including emergency life support, adolescent mental health, perinatal psychiatry, travel medicine, sleep apnoea, obstetric, paediatric, immunisation, weight control, dermatology, cardiology, depression and anxiety. Dr. Fiona Stewart Fiona trained in Aberdeen Scotland, graduating in 1984 with an MBChB. She went on to do her DRCOG, also in Scotland. Fiona emigrated to Australia in 1991 and has since been working in general practice and family planning. She now enjoys taking care of everyone from brand new babies to 90+ year olds, male and females equally. Fiona says "If there is anything I am passionate about it is preventative medicine - with doctors working in partnership with their patients". Fiona is an avid cyclist. Dr. Krzysztof CichockiDr. Cichocki is affectionately known among patients and staff as Dr. Krys. He arrived in Australia in 1987, five years after graduating from medical school in Poland in 1982. Krys further studied medicine in Australia and graduated from the University of Queensland in 1995 and received his fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2002. Dr Krys has always had a special interest in surgical procedures, given his previous surgical training in Poland. Since being in Australia he was drawn to the prevention and treatment of skin cancer and now focuses his surgical talents on a range of skin related problems. He regularly attends courses and seminars on skin cancer treatments to maintain currency with the latest procedures and technology. Krys uses modern dermascope equipment in his skin cancer examinations. His outside interest is home renovating, and is a keen jogger and swimmer and enjoys photography. |
